Ballet Instructor: We are looking for a caring teacher with a professional ballet training background, a clear understanding of placement and technique, and a love that can inspire and carry on and grow the work already started.  We have a program that includes classical ballet for children and adults and would like to find a teacher open to learning and carrying on what has been done so far insofar as syllabus, technique, placement, classroom protocol, nurturing the expressive qualities and core values, and thereby create a very smooth and consistent transition for students. We are looking to find a teacher who can initially work very closely with the current teacher and director of this program. Within and beyond that, in service to the greatest good to the students, your innovation and uniqueness is invited and welcome, and your freedom always respected.  All students are currently just at the beginning levels because the school has just started out. All age levels come twice a week including Pre-ballet to children 4-5.  We have a beautiful studio with barres, mirrors, wooden floor, and a new music system. The ballet/dance program is part of Pause: an after-school program for children that emphasizes emotional intelligence and social skills rather than academics. You would be working along side very forward-thinking, wonderful people in a co-creative atmosphere.
