Global Dance Network classifies Sequence Dance as any dance style that follows pre-determined routines of step sequences. Sequence dancing may include dances of many different styles. The term may include ballroom dances which move round the floor as well as line, square and circle dances. Dances in this category may include but are not limited to Old-time Waltz, Country dance, Quadrille, Galop, Polka; Saunter, Gavotte, Two Step, Mazurka, Schottische, Cakewalk, Reuda and American line dance.
